Be realistic. Work out how long the project will take you to complete and how much you are prepared to work for per hour. The aim is to produce a quality piece that the client will be happy with so that you get positive feedback. If you bid too low, the client may think you won't do a good job. On the other hand, you do need to be competitive - especially when building up your feedback score.

When you bid, you'll notice that we add on our fees automatically (from 5th November 2007). So if you bid $100, we'll add on $35 and the total the buyer pays is $135. This means you get your full fee and they know up front exactly what they are paying. We hope you agree that this new system is far more efficient and transparent.
