 Description Regional Comparison: the project group is asked to undertake a regional comparison analysis. The top 10 ports from each continents, Europe, Asia, and North America are selected. A brief description of each region should be provided. The following areas need to be compared.
o Number of vessel calls and vessel size
o Container volume
o Length of berth and number of TEUs per linear meter
o Number of ship-shore cranes and number of TEUs per crane
o Size of terminal and number of TEUs per acre
o Types of container handling equipment and number of TEUs handled per equipment
o Access channel depth and distance from pilot to berth
o Railroad access and number of railroad serving the port or terminal

The written report should have a well-defined structure such as introduction, objective or problem statement, main body, summary or conclusion, and references. Title page and page number should be included. The use of graphics, tables, and charts is essential to provide important support for the analysis.
