Description Create a debatable thesis which can be supported using quotes from the text and a minimum of 8 secondary criticism. The goal of the research is to find academic articles written by qualified people on your topic. These articles, also known as pieces of secondary criticism, must pertain to your theme and thesis. As ong as these minimum requirements are met, any extra piece of academic secondary criticism (from any academic source) is acceptable.

For every secondary criticism you read and choose for your paper, you must have an accompanying set of notecards. The following are the minimum requirement for the notecards. Extra effort is encouraged and rewarded.

1 notecard which gives a topic sentence which you have gleaned from reading the article. This topic sentence has to be your own language, not the language of the article.

1 notecard which gives a quote or other evidence to support the above topic sentence. Make sure to have the page number on the quote.

2 notecards which explain the quote-is is your personal commentary on the evidence you've provided above.

Now repeat the above process two more times; that is, by the end, for each article you should have at least

3 topic statement notecards
3 quote notecards
6 explanatory notecards

a total of 12 notecards per article (absolute minimum required)

Each set of articles must be accompanied by a bibliography card which gives all necessary works cited information. Information must be presented according to MLA format.

Note: The 2500-3000 words do not include the notecards.
