I know the broad area of research i will be pursuing but i need to come up with a more specific area. Im looking at the anarchist movement at the end of the nineteenth century, it needs to be in a european historical context, with a focus on urban history. Maybe something like "anarchist approaches to urban institutions and spaces". The essay itself has a word limit 0f 10,000-12,000 words but I want to stress that I don't want you to write the essay, but rather help me to get the ball rolling in terms of research, i.e. suggestions for areas to specifically focus on (country/region/specific movement), and the key historiographical debates and other areas of interest. I will be looking do most of my research from primary sources, which i imagine will mostly be political pamphlets and that sort of thing. So suggestions for this would be useful also.
