Description
Write three detailed e-mails using the proper e-mail format to my three suppliers: 1)Jack Harper is a good friend of mine. The wholesale company he represents has been supplying my store with oak bookshelves for several years 2)Henry Grove-Smyth designs desks made to fit specific offices. He has been supplying these desks on order-by-order basis to my store for less than a year, and I don't know him well. He's formal and a bit of a perfectionist. 3)Marsha Ellington supplies me with designer fabric from a manufacturing company for conference room chairs. Marsha often complains about being overworked. She's an acquaitance of mine, but not a friend.
I'm the manager of merchandising for an upscale office supply store that specializes in custom-made office furniture.
My responsability include maintaining an adequate inventory and ensuring that I receive quality goods from my suppliers. These suppliers include as mentioned above, representatives of manufacturers and wholesalers who sell products to my store, and individual operators supplying specially crafted items on a small scale as needed. I've been experiencing various dificulties with above mentioned suppliers for my store, yet I desire to continue business relations with each.
suggest different subject line for each message.
Specific solutions I expect from the suppliers in response to each problem
Different tone depending on the relationship I have with each supplier as well as the problem and solution I define.
The problem should be related to that supplier's area of expertise. (Do not write requesting more supplies or a meeting to discuss the problem. Define a problem and a solution
