Invesigation of different film industries (in different countries) using the modification of dawn of the dead as an example.
The film industries are different in each country. They all have different views / legislation of what they will agree to put in their cinemas.
Please focus on the different industries in America, Britain, Japan and Italy and give an overview of the structure of the media industry of film in these countries and evidence your findings with examples from Dawn of the Dead.
I HAVE INCLUDED A COMPARISON OF DAWN OF THE DEAD FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES TO ENABLE YOU TO EVIDENCE YOUR FINDINGS - SEE ATTACHMENT.
What do these changes say about the film industry in the country it is being released in? Why were these changes made?
Also, a comic spoof of Dawn of the Dead (called Shaun of the Dead) made in England was released here.. What does this show about the Film industry in England. Are they mocking themselves?
Why are there pauses in the Japanese version? etc
THIS IS REALLY A FOCUS ON THE FILM INDUSTRY IN EACH COUNTRY. DAWN OF THE DEAD IS JUST GOING TO BE USED AS EXAMPLES OF THIS. Please note- that i will show clips of dawn of the dead from all of these countries. So if you want to use spefific examples from the films (if you have seen them or from the attachment sent here) please do so.
This is to be used in a presentation - So please dont put too much emphasis on the intro and conclusion here as this will be spoken about by someone else.
