 Description Task:With specific reference to language, character and plot discuss how Conan Doyle creates atmosphere and tension in The adventures of Sherlock Holmes.

You will need to have read three Sherlock Holmes short stories: The Greek Interpreter, The Crooked Man & The Speckled Band.
